Growth Management Services Goals
Provide technical and financial resources to help local governments develop county-wide planning policies, comprehensive plans, and development regulations, including critical areas ordinances.

A local government may request expedited review when providing notice of intent to adopt a development regulation under RCW 36.70A.106.
Update Information
For a community’s plan to be effective, it must continue to evolve. A comprehensive plan that remains relevant will allow the community to address and benefit from new information and trends.

Growth Management Grants
We administer the Growth Management Grants Program to help local governments pay for work completed to comply with Growth Management Act requirements. All counties and cities subject to RCW 36.70A.040 are eligible.
