Permit Process

One of the goals of the Growth Management Act is to ensure that permits are issued in a timely, predictable and fair manner.  Jurisdictions fully planning under the GMA use the processes outlined in RCW 36.70B - Local Project Review, RCW 36.70C - Judicial Review of Land Use Decisions and RCW 43.21C - SEPA to facilitate permit processing.  Easy to understand permit processes also help the public provide timely comments on development proposals.
