Lead Professional Services:

 

These services are provided by certified firms as found in the link above.  All CTED certified personnel are issued a certificate and an identification badge and you may request to see this documentation before starting your project.  Activities that each certified lead based paint discipline may perform are:

 

  • INSPECTOR:  inspections and clearance testing only.
  • RISK ASSESSOR:  inspections, clearance testing, lead hazards screens and risk assessments.
  • SUPERVISOR:  supervision of abatement projects, preparation of occupant protection plans, abatement reports, and all abatement activities that may be performed by abatement workers.
  • WORKER:  abatement activities under the direction of certified abatement supervisor.
