Tom Johnston represents Washington State in Mexico through Trade Management Services’ Mexico affiliate, Business Development Partners, S.A. de C.V. Tom has over 20 years experience in research consulting, media and business in Mexico, Central and South America. His consulting work includes projects for the World Bank and USAID, and he spent several years directing manufacturing operations in Mexico for a New York apparel firm. Tom is fluent in Spanish, and his work has been published in scholarly as well as popular media in both the United States and Latin America. He holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
