International Trade

The International Trade program assists Washington state businesses in profitably accessing the global marketplace by providing training and assistance, building international trade relationships, and advocating the importance of international trade to Washington’s economy.

We work with companies small and large to help them enter new foreign markets to sell their products and services or to expand sales overseas. We provide most of our services to Washington companies at no charge.

Exports Drive the Washington Economy:

  • In the US, exports accounted for about 30% of economic growth over the last decade.
  • In WA, exports contributed to nearly one-half of the state’s new jobs over the past 30 years.
  • In 2007, Washington’s exports totaled over $66 billion.

  • International Tourism Promotion
