Sean Fogarty was appointed in December 2006 as Washington State’s Trade Representative in Taiwan. Mr. Fogarty has an impressive background in international business and in successfully helping U.S. companies enter the Taiwan market. Sean has spent 16 years in Asia including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.  Prior to his appointment, Sean was the Country Manager for a global education provider where he effectively developed the Taiwan, Hong Kong and China markets.  From 1999, Sean successfully promoted trade and investment in Taiwan for the State of California Office of Trade and Investment where he helped to generate US$199 million dollars in trade and investment successes for the state and US businesses.
