Re-Employment Support Centers

The Re-Employment Support Centers (RSC) Program was created in 1987 to provide direct and referral services to displaced workers in communities impacted by declines in the timber and salmon industry or by large-scale layoffs. Services are designed to supplement assistance provided by the Department of Employment Security.

Funding for this program is provided by the Department of Employment Security and is administered by the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development.

The biennial program budget is $422,000. Contract funds are divided evenly between three locally based centers serving King, Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
