For kids to explore how you create communities, how you live in them, and how you change them

Kids all over Washington are finding that architecture is a fun way to explore the world around them.  And, teachers and parents are discovering that Washington's historic buildings and sites are valuable teaching tools.  Kids learn best when they can make tangible connections with the subject they are studying.  Our historic buildings can be seen, touched, and experienced by kids first hand, thereby helping kids learn about social, economic, political, cultural, and technological trends of the societies and times that constructed them.
