Growth Management Housing Task Force

Task Force Report

Governor Gregoire asked the Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB) in a July 18, 2006, letter to convene an AHAB task force on the Growth Management Act (GMA) and housing.  The task force was to provide recommendations to expand the supply of affordable housing through better implementation of the GMA, including the provision of more tools and incentives.  The task force met over late summer and early fall. It provided recommendations to AHAB at its meeting on October 18, 2006. Those recommendations are listed in the link above.
