Board Support
The policy board is to include representatives of the following groups: Local government, education, law enforcement, treatment, and parents.

An Effective Policy Board

  • includes the required membership;
  • has members that understand what is expected from them;
  • has members that have recieved an orientation;
  • is given sufficient information, and time to understand the issues before making decisions;
  • has regularly scheduled meetings that are on time, and directed towards the agenda;
  • is regularly attended by its members.
