Financial Services

The Financial Services Division supports CTED programs by providing a variety of internal services. Over 90 percent of CTED’s resources are passed through to local governments, nonprofit organizations or other locally-based organizations via contracts, grants and loans. This means that a major function of the financial services division is to coordinate and manage this resource management process.

Our objectives are:

  • To provide high quality and cost-effective internal services to CTED’s programs.
  • To provide leadership to the department in the areas of budget processes and management practices.
  • To ensure that CTED’s financial management systems and practices meet the standards set by regulating agencies.
  • To develop management systems that help CTED programs improve the quality of their services to clients and citizens.
  • To coordinate with other agencies of state government to pursue opportunities for streamlining government regulations and administrative practices.
