• The statewide 211 call system will again serve as the main communications portal and refer thousands of callers to local free tax assistance and free online tax filing software.
• Twelve local EITC outreach campaigns will be organized and led by asset building coalitions. These campaigns will build on and add local marketing and tax prep assistance focus to our overall state campaign. For local contacts click here. 
• Over 850,000 mailing inserts will be mailed directly to recipients of public benefits like medical coupons, food assistance, long-term care providers and foster parents.  130,000 hand-outs and 2,000 color posters will be locally distributed in December 2007 to promote EITC.  
• All materials will be in both English and Spanish and a special multi-language flyer was sent out to public assistance recipients speaking eight other languages.
